Boo Cares: Why Every Glow Bracelet Carries a Little Bit of Magic

When I started Boo Buddy, I wanted to create more than a Halloween brand. I wanted to create something that made kids feel a little braver, a little kinder, and a little more seen. That idea is at the heart of everything we do — and it's exactly why we built the Boo Cares Initiative.

What Is Boo Cares?

Boo Cares is Boo Buddy's promise to give back. A portion of proceeds from every purchase — from a single Glow Wristband to the Ultimate Glow Bundle — goes toward donating Glow Bracelets to hospitals, pediatric units, and schools.

Each bracelet carries one simple message, and it's a message we believe every child deserves to hear:

Why This Matters to Me

This part of Boo Buddy is personal.

My daughter Abigail was born with a cleft lip, and Hershey Medical Center's team walked alongside our family through every step of her care. They didn't just treat her — they saw her. They made sure she, and our whole family, felt supported through a journey that could have felt scary and isolating. Instead, it felt like we were surrounded by people who genuinely cared.

That experience shaped so much of what Boo Buddy stands for. I know firsthand what it means for a child to feel truly seen during a difficult moment, and I wanted Boo Buddy to carry that same light forward to other families.

Our First Donation

On October 22, Boo Buddy will make its very first Boo Cares donation: 200 Glow Bracelets delivered to the Hershey Penn State Health Children's Hospital
