Some families pull a Kindness Prompted Boo Card daily, while others just use simple, everyday moments — even a "thank you" — to help Boo collect kindness sparks. However you do it, Boo Buddy collects the kindness sparks kids create, and it's light that wakes the magic so those sparks can finally be seen. A UV light works best for the brightest glow, but sunlight or a regular flashlight held to Boo's heart and the trim of his skirt in the dark will bring the magic to life too.

The Arrival Box Set has completed CPSC/CPSIA compliance testing (ASTM F963-23), and the Glow Keychain and Glow Wristband are undergoing safety testing as well. Boo Buddy — plush, coloring book, keychain, and bracelet alike — is recommended for ages 3 and up.
